Battle Splash is a mixture of inspirations from Team Fortress 2, Doom, Quake and even Overwatch, using only Water Splashes. Thus, every part of the game is fully innovated while the fundamental elements are kept intact.
The game features Epic Fast-Paced, Bullet-Dodging, Competitive, Team-Based Third Person, multiplayer Shooter with No Killing, No Blood, No Violence, and full Water Splashes Physics.
Player can fight against dozen of Enemies, dodging thousands of Bullets while facing off Giant Robots, all At-The-Same-Time. Every playstyle is welcomed, player can freely make up their own tactics and fully make use of the map’s layout and hidden mechanics.
Battle Splash is a Zero-budget project, solely made by its creator, designer and programmer: Mai Nguyen Binh Hung. He is also a co-founder of Dranya Studio, an independent video game studio based in Hanoi, Vietnam. The game has been developed since 2013 and started as a small multiplayer prototype with partially completed mechanisms. Battle Splash itself is made with inspirations from water guns and classic shooters for an enjoyable experience for all ages. Currently, the game doesn’t have the release date yet since the developer is still making more content.
- Water Physics: Water reacts to the environment, changing the shape of the AoE when it is splashed onto a surface. Moreover, since all damage is water, you “heal” by running and let the air dry you.
- Fully Physics-based: Ballistic Bullets, Bouncing Balloons and lots of Physics features. You can perform some "Redefined" old tricks from Arena Shooter such as Bullet Dodging, Rocket Jump or Balloons Hop.
- Fast-paced Bullet dodging: No cover, just dodging. The faster you run, the faster you dry.
- Four different Classes: Scout, Medic, Engineer, Guardian, all with different stats. Each Character is granted one special ability (in a form of a special Item), and all the game’s arsenal.
- Four weapon types: Sniper-rifle, Bazooka, Pistol, and Water Balloons.
- Dynamic, real-time Load-out system: Change weapon’s behaviors and functions in real-time using weapon modular system. Character can switch their role by selecting different weapon type. Furthermore, the chip system can change a character’s and weapons’ attributes to be more powerful and flexible.
- Adaptive AI: AIs can automatically scale to better suited to your level of skill.
- Day Night system: Each map has a day and night version, with different elements and mood for each version.
